Lyndsey dabbled in yoga for many years but wasn’t totally sold until she used it to rehab after a major surgery. Finding inspiration through many encouraging and wonderful teachers, her practice has formed her into a stronger, happier person. Yoga has given her so much physically, emotionally and spiritually that she couldn’t wait to spread and share that love.
Lyndsey was yoga certified in 2014 by Wanderlust Yoga (200HR RYT) in Squaw Valley, CA and Austin, TX. Soon after, she was SUP Yoga certified by Julie Roach with H2YO & ACA. Stop in for a hug or a smile at the Lululemon in Winter Park Florida. Lyndsey is a Key Leader and community yoga coordinator at the beautiful Park Avenue location!
She continues to combine her love of travel, yoga and the water to practice and explore her passions. Working with beginner yogis is one of those passions. Helping them understand the amazing a practice of yoga can transform the physical form and at the same time reduce stress on the mind. “Yoga is for every type of person and every lifestyle; it doesn’t matter if you think you’re flexible or not. You can start anywhere with your practice and grow from that place!”
“I am a second-generation Floridian, raised with a deep appreciation and respect for the environment and nature, especially Florida’s wildlife and waterways. My dad’s nickname for me was “Little Sunshine Girl,” and I try to live up to it. I started standup paddling and SUP yoga when it first arrived in Central Florida in 2009, where I met Julie Roach. I’m a certified SUP instructor through ACA and completed H2yo’s first teachers’ training program, when I designed and helped edit the first H2yo instructors’ manual. My focus in teaching SUP yoga is peace of mind through meditation and communion with nature, safety, personal attention, and a great workout that builds strength and serenity.
I started practicing meditation when I was 18 years old to deal with stress. That was the late 1980s, before anyone called it mindfulness-based stress reduction. In the late 1990s, I started practicing kundalini yoga, which taught me yogic philosophy and how to meditate and breathe more deeply, accessing prana. It had such a profound effect on my body, mind, and spirit that people noticed I was glowing. What amazed me most was how quickly yoga transformed my strength, energy, mind, and physique. I had always been active, but nothing transformed by body as much as yoga’s coordination of breath, meditation, and movement.
In 2004, I completed my first 200-hour yoga teachers’ training in Yogi Bhajan’s kundalini yoga. In 2009, I completed a hatha yoga teachers’ training in the Sivananda tradition.”
My mantra is “Choose only love today.”
“Yoga teaches us to cure what we need not endure and endure what we cannot cure.”(- BKS Iyengar)
The reality is this: yoga saved my life. My daily ashtanga practice opened my wings and allowed me to begin to see, learn about, and appreciate me, ALL of me. I began practicing at 25, broken and lost. At 30 I knew creating a yoga habit was the way to bliss, or the illuminated path for me. I wanted to follow the ashtanga lineage after connecting with some powerful teachers and mentors. Patience, persistence, and lack of expectation are quite important elements to succeeding on this path so I vowed to learn about all of them, none of which come easy for me. I only decided to teach once yoga moved me. The shift was so great, and I had to share! So here I am, ready to share all I have learned and all I have experienced.
I am here to hold the space for you to have the experience your soul is looking for. I am committed to holding space for you, creating a fertile environment in which you feel safe to grow and evolve, and sharing healing through our yoga journey. In this space, love is the guiding power and breath.
My goal is to keep you safe, while still holding space for you to journey to peace. I’m passionate about practicing yoga in Nature (the beach, park, forest, on a mountain…literally anywhere inspiring!) and SUP Yoga. I value breath, safety, alignment, integrity, positivity, honesty and commitment, and aim to bring these qualities to my teaching. Together, we will root deep, grow, and evolve. I am so looking forward to meeting you right where you are and journeying together!

Michelle has been stand up paddling, surfing and practicing yoga & Pilates for many years. After getting Pilate’s certified with PSC in California (PMA 550 Certified), she decided to advance her practice by getting yoga certified with Yoga Mittra School in Manhattan Beach, California (RYT 300). Michelle decided to also advance her skills with a certification in SUP Yoga training with H2YO in Orlando, Florida. Michelle’s love of the ocean and of yoga combined brought her to start teaching SUP yoga in the Southern California back in 2010 but has been Stand UP Paddling since 2008. SUP yoga changed everything and brought her practice back to ground zero. Michelle soon realized the benefits of “FLO YO” (floating yoga on and off the water) and wants to share this love with as many people as possible.
Michelle and long time partner, Jeremy had a goal of bringing a higher level of awareness to the importance of preserving and saving our oceans on a local level when they founded www.beyondtheshore.org. Beyond the Shore is a non-profit dedicated to ocean conservation, education and awareness in our local communities and our world.
Beyond The Shore’s goal is to reach out to the local community by hosting it’s Annual Beyond The Shore Paddlefest, see video attached. The BTS Paddlefest hosts the “Worlds Largest Stand UP Paddle Board Yoga Class”. Michelle taught to more than 160 people doing yoga together on paddle board last October 13, 2014.
Adding to the adventure, Michelle has been teaching her love of “Floating Yoga” all over the globe for the last few years, from the waters off Costa Rica to the waters in Bonaire, LaPaz and even to the far reaches of England & Spain. Her love for sharing these adventures had led her to host yoga and supyoga retreats & teacher trainings with Retreats Unlimited. Michelle’s love of the ocean, yoga and working with people shines through in everything she sets her mind to. Michelle considers “Life” an adventure everyday.

With over 18 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Heather’s passion is now to assist her clients from a more holistic healing approach. We can help heal our bodies and minds through the practice of yoga. Heather first found yoga years ago after an accident nearly took her young son’s life. It was through the pranayama breathwork and meditation practice that helped her deal with the PTSD she experienced from that event. To Heather the physical practice of yoga was a moving meditation that assisted her with having a peaceful mind, her practice had the added benefit of weight loss, increased flexibility and better athletic performance during paddleboarding.
Seeing the benefits of yoga in her own life she choose to pursue her certification and obtain her 200 hr certificate from Full Circle Yoga in Orlando, FL. Additionally Heather has certifications as a Level 1 ACA Standup Paddle Instructor and a SUP Yoga Instructor. You can meet her on the mat and on the water.
